China/UK SDP Project is a viable project that would help the school’s development. After the training we have great confidence to carry it out in our school.

Our schools’ development plan had great influence in our school. The plan gave all the teachers and staff a new but clear picture of the school’s performance development and personal development, and as a result increased the enthusiasm for their work.

SDP is a great plan combining the school’s long-term and short-term development action plan and was completed by community members, headteachers and teachers together. It makes the school not only an education administration department but also a community school. It creates a closer relationship between the school and the community, therefore all the community members and teachers become involved together in the schools’ development.

Before this school performance evaluation, I was suspicious about this group of outside evaluators. But by the end of the evaluation, I was inspired by their highly dedicated spirit, as well as convinced by their objective and professional evaluation. Now I understand what school performance evaluation is. I think this evaluation is an activity that effectively combines the in-school ability and out of school experts’ experience together.
