Our Services >> UK Study Visits The UK education system is one of the most reformed systems in the world. It offers a wealth of lessons and examples for others contemplating education reform, whether at system or school level. Cambridge Education has many years experience of organising study visits to the UK for education officials, headteachers and teachers. Our extensive network of schools in the UK and our professional staff (most of whom are ex-headteachers or officials) allow us to tailor make programmes and let participants get real insights into the operation of a developed country education system. We can organise different types of visits according to the type of group and numbers. These could include : High Level Visits: we can organise visits for small numbers of high level education officials whether national or provincial level. These visits are tailored towards specific schools, key government institutions and are facilitated by high level Cambridge Education staff. Clients have used such visits to influence Chinese policy makers and expose them to alternative thinking in education. Training / Study Visits: these visits are more oriented to middle level education managers (e.g. headteachers) and senior teachers. They combine visits to schools and local education authorities with bespoke training (in modern leadership or school self evaluation for example). Shadowing Visits: these visits are oriented to practitioners who want to get in-depth insights into the UK education system. They combine exposure to the UK education system through orientation and training with a concentrated spell in a UK school shadowing a headteacher for example. This can provide excellent opportunities to understand and reflect on their own practices.
