School Performance Evaluation Project with Peking University
Using the mature and systematic school inspection and evaluation experience from UK and combining the character of the school evaluation system in China, Cambridge Education and Peking University cooperated to develop a set of “School Performance Evaluation Standards” which suit the primary and secondary schools in China.

According to the advanced evaluation methods and the evaluation practice to Chinese primary and secondary schools, we developed the following evaluation tools,
“School Performance Evaluation Standards” focuses on the systematic explanation of the main purpose, contents, processes, methods and tools of the school performance evaluation
“School Performance Self- Evaluation Manual” focuses on the systematic explanation of how to do the self-evaluation and write the self-evaluation report, mainly for the use of schools
“School Performance External Evaluation Manual” focuses on the systematic explanation of the main evaluation tools and methods, and is designed to be used by evaluators
To date, the evaluation group organised by Cambridge Education and Peking University have done several evaluations in primary and secondary schools in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen and provided professional Evaluation Reports to each evaluated school. The objective evaluation process and the professional analysis report are highly valued by all the evaluated schools.
