Joint statement on Copyright Issue
Gansu Basic Education Project (GBEP) is a bilateral cooperative project implemented by the British and Chinese Governments since 1999, which aims to promote innovation and reform in Basic Education. After 6 years’ piloting, GBEP has shared its experience in several areas, especially in SDP, inspection, Participatory Teacher Training, Head Teacher training and Social Development by publishing series of training materials. We have agreed that these materials can be used or adapted by many national and international projects. We are pleased to share our experience through these materials and would like to make statement about copyright.
1.The copyrights of GBEP materials are jointly owned by the Gansu Provincial Education Department and Cambridge Education. We welcome all institutions related to aid projects to share GBEP experience by using GBEP materials.
2.Any institution which uses or quotes GBEP materials should put a notice in the front page of the materials as following:
“This material has been developed by Gansu Basic Education Project (GBEP). The copyright is jointly owned by Gansu Provincial Education Department and Cambridge Education. The Gansu Basic Education Project is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), Cambridge Education provides technical support.
3. Any adaptation of GBEP materials needs the joint written permission of the Gansu Provincial Education Department and Cambridge Education. Please contact the PMO.
4.It is not permitted to use these materials for any commercial activities.
